The Gap Youth and Community Centre have negotiated with Territory Families additional funding for the remainder of the holiday period to extend the operations of our after hours youth services.
This week at the Gap we are delivering Hip Hop workshop with Reason and Eloquor from 1.00pm – 5.00pm. Next week our program includes Comedy workshops with Jacci and Tim on Monday and Thursday evenings, a BMX outing on Tuesday, a Circus workshop on Wednesday at the Alice Spring Youth and Community Centre and Blue Light Disco at the Gap Youth and Community Centre from 6.00pm to 9.00pm, and a Ten Pin Bowling disco at the Dust Bowl from 6.30pm to 9.30pm on Friday night.
In addition to the above school holiday program we will be open every night from Thursday 13th July to Sunday 23rd July 2021 from 6.00pm to 11.00pm. The Northern Territory Government are supporting not only the normal holiday program but also the additional hours to address the gap in current after hours youth programs being deliver in the community.
All young people will be offered a meal and the opportunity for transport home from the Gap Youth and Community Centre.
